Hetzler retires

TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. — Air Force Lt. Col. David F. Hetzler has retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving honorably for 28 years.

Hetzler was last serving as instructor mission crew commander with 966th Airborne Air Control Squadron, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla.

He is a 1988 graduate of Tippecanoe High School, Tipp City. He earned a bachelor’s degree in 1998 from Park University, Parkville, Mo.

Taylor to become instructor

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Technical Sargent James Taylor of Pleasant Hill completed training in March 2017, to become a military training instructor.

He will be stationed at Lackland Aire Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, where he and his wife, Elizabeth, and their two children will reside.

Taylor is a graduate of Newton High School, and the son of Dick and Dee Taylor of Ludlow Falls.
